Dirt 4 lets you virtually race in the FIA World Rallycross series

Dirt 4 is coming to electronics stores this June, and it's bringing along the FIA World Rallycross series. And from the looks of it, it should be a blast. Developer Codemasters released its latest trailer, which features cars from the series, and it appears to have all the bumping and sliding the sport is known for.

The representation of the rally racers should be highly accurate, too. In the trailer you can spot various real World Rallycross cars with correct, detailed paint schemes. And, yes, Ken Block's Ford Focus RX is featured. The rallycross events will also take place at real life courses, and the events will have the correct format of multiple short races, and use of the "Joker" lap. For those unfamiliar with the Joker lap, it's a lap in which a driver takes a long-cut (as opposed to a shortcut), and each driver must complete one Joker lap in each race.

If modern rallycross rockets aren't your thing, you'll be able to take various slower and older rally cars on course, too. Later in the trailer, you can spot the Lancia Delta S4 and MG Metro 6R4. Traditional stage rallying, and Baja truck racing will also be included in the game.
