Antoine Griezmann has for the first time responded to interest from Manchester United. Speaking to French TV, Griezmann claimed that there is six on ten chance of a move to Old Trafford. Despite this, Griezmann also said that there is a seven on ten chance of him staying at Atletico Madrid. Griezmann also revealed that his future will be determined in the next couple of weeks. A United victory in tomorrow’s Europa League Final will surely help in making the dream move a reality.
SMALLING TO GO?
Jose Mourinho is reportedly willing to listen to offers for Chris Smalling in the summer. Smalling has had a massive dip in form after an impressive season last time round. Combined with Mourinho bringing in at least a couple of new center backs, Smalling accepts that his time at Old Trafford may be up. However, Mourinho is willing to give Phil Jones another chance as he plans to overhaul the United squad and turn them into winners.

Manchester United have cancelled the scheduled pre-match press conference in the wake of the deadly explosion at Manchester Arena on Monday night. The flags at Old Trafford were also at half-mast. United have also requested to wear black armbands during tomorrow’s final. The players also held a moment’s silence in respect of the victims ahead of training.
MITCHELL TRAINS
Demetri Mitchell was spotted training with the first team ahead of the make-or-break Europa League final. He made his debut on Sunday against Crystal Palace and impressed everyone with his composure and skill set. He could be in line for a shock place in Mourinho’s squad for the Final. McTominay also trained with the team but United’s lack of full backs means that Mitchell is more likely to earn a place on the team than McTominay.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LONGING
Juan Mata has revealed the Manchester United squad desperately wants to play in the Champions League after watching matches together ahead of their Europa League encounters. Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Mata said: “We’d be round the table together having something to eat and then the TV would be put on and we’d watch the Champions League. And, yeah, we’d be wishing next season that we are there. The Champions League is the best competition and it’s one this club should be playing in every season. Now we are playing in the Europa League and if we win it as I did a few years ago (with Chelsea), it’s a double bonus, as it’s a trophy and a Champions League spot, so it’s very important for us.’
