President Donald Trump is meeting Wednesday afternoon with four candidates to be the next director of the FBI, White House press secretary Sean Spicer announced in a gaggle aboard Air Force One.The candidates include acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, former Oklahoma Gov. Frank Keating, Independent Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut and former FBI official Richard McFeely.Former Director James Comey was abruptly fired by Trump last week, sending the White House into turmoil as lawmakers from both parties questioned the decision. Tuesday night, reports surfaced that a memo by Comey shows Trump asked him to end an investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn.The White House has denied the content of the memo."The president has been very clear that the account that was published is not an accurate description of how the event occurred," Spicer said." I’m not going to give any other comment on that."
