Home invader chased out by residents caught on tape

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Charleston police responded to a home on Concord Street for reports of a home invasion.

According to CPD officials, a man jumped a six-foot fence and went into the home through the back door.

The residents were home, however, and chased him off through the front door.

Now police are hoping you've seen him. He's described as a college-age white male wearing a button up short sleeve shirt, shorts, and flip flops.

They've released photos that were captured from surveillance cameras.
