Aaron Ramsey wants Arsenal to finish the job next month and win the FA Cup for manager Arsene Wenger.

Ramsey started against Manchester City on Sunday as an extra-time Alexis Sanchez winner took the Gunners to an eighth FA Cup final of the Wenger era.

No manager has won the competition more than the Frenchman, whose Arsenal future remains uncertain as he approaches the final weeks of his current contract.

And with Chelsea awaiting in the final Ramsey wants to deliver a seventh success for a manager who has faced protests from sections of his own support this season.

He said: "It was important for us to get to the final for him, for ourselves and for the fans, and have a bit of positivity around the club.

"He was over the moon for us but we are delighted as well that we have got to a final for him. I think he deserves that and hopefully now we can kick on and win it for him."

Arsenal are seven points off a top-four position with seven matches to play in the Premier League, but Wenger's side can drawl level with third-placed Liverpool if they win their three games in hand - starting against Leicester on Wednesday.
