Belfast police take lost goats on Sunday drive
Belfast Police returned the goats they found roaming around High Street Sunday morning. The department's Facebook post about the goats tipped off the owner. Police officers treated the lost goats to a ride around the neighborhood. Sgt. Daniel Fitzpatrick, of the Belfast Police Department, said duo was found inside a garage on High Street around 9:30 a.m.He said while he enjoyed the sweet serenade of goat music, he gladly returned them to their owners, as he was running out of veggies for the goats to snack on.They were reunited with their owner around 1 p.m.
