Disgraced footballer Adam Johnson has been moved to a segregation unit within HMP Moorland amid fears that he may be attacked after telling inmates he ‘wished he raped his victim’.
The 29-year-old was caught on camera by what appears to be another inmate, ranting about his sentence.

He is currently serving a six-year prison sentence after he was convicted of sexual activity with an underage girl.
According to The Sun, the former footballer was transferred to a secure area as soon as video of him inside the prison emerged yesterday.
A source said that Johnson has ‘made himself a massive target’.
They said: ‘He has made himself a massive target with his comments.
‘He is already on the sex offenders’ wing, but even among that hated group he has hit a new low.
‘These comments are so disgusting that there are fears someone is going to have a go at him.’
According to The Sun, Johnson is now in the segregation unit at HMP Moorland, South Yorkshire.
The unit has fewer facilities and space for just 28 inmates.
In the video, which emerged yesterday, a fellow prisoner asks Johnson: ‘How long have you got, six years?
‘And you never even f***ed the bird? It’s not like you f***ing raped her or anything like that?’
To which Adam Johnson replied: ‘No, I wish I f***ing did for six years [in jail]’.
During his trial, Johnson insisted to jurors he was deeply ashamed of his actions, though in the footage shot in a laundry room at HMP Moorland Johnson describes his crimes – sexual activity with a child – as ‘f*** all’.
He later claims he was made an example of because of his fame.
