BGSU signee averages a double-double as Simeon advances to the state semifinals

Bowling Green State University women's basketball signee Terrinique Battle recently completed a successful senior season at Simeon High School. Battle is one of five student-athletes who signed a National Letter of Intent in November of 2016.

Battle capped off her high-school career by averaging a double-double to help her school, Simeon Career Academy, advance to the Class 3A state semifinals in Illinois before falling.

The 2016-17 season marked the first time the Wolverines had advanced to the state's final four.

In her senior campaign, Battle averaged a double-double, with 10.0 points and 10.3 rebounds per game, as the Wolverines went 23-7 overall and a perfect 8-0 in conference play.

Additionally, Battle has a very successful AAU career, playing for the Illinois Lady Raptors.

Battle joins Madisen Parker, Angela Perry, Sierra Thompson and Kennedy Williams in the Falcons' incoming freshman class.
