GREAT PERFORMANCES mourns the passing of legendary blues and gospel singer Linda Hopkins, who memorably co-starred with Ruth Brown in Black and Blue, a musical revue celebrating the blues and dance music between the World Wars. Nominated for ten Tony Awards and winning three, the show was recorded by GREAT PERFORMANCES for PBS broadcast in 1993 in a production directed for television by Robert Altman.
