Kendall Jenner is an icon in her own right at this point. The 21-year-old model has taken the fashion world by storm in recent years — and now, she's paying tribute to an icon of decades past: Marilyn Monroe.

In a video for Love magazine, Jenner channels Monroe's classic look. She's got the bold, red lips and the pinup curls, as she wears several sexy ensembles from lingerie brand La Perla. (Jenner is the face of the brand's spring 2017 campaign.) Beyond the Monroe style, the two-minute short film, directed by Rankin and styled by the magazine's editor-in-chief Katie Grand, features Jenner lip-synching some of Monroe's most famous songs from her legendary movie career. After opening with a voice-over that announces, "Here's the girl who put the 'mmm' in movies," the film shows Jenner sporting a tiara and a retro red-and-white floral halter one-piece. She kicks things off by mouthing this often-quoted line from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes: "I always say a kiss on the hand might feel very good, but a diamond tiara lasts forever."

The video then shows Jenner performing Monroe's classic hit "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" and repeating quotes from Let's Make Love and The Seven Year Itch, before closing out with a sultry rendition of "I Wanna Be Loved by You" from Some Like It Hot.
