Rovers boss Mellon "expecting a few twists and turns"

Tranmere Rovers manager Micky Mellon is looking forward to tomorrow's home game against Dover Athletic at Prenton Park.

Rovers go into the game just two points behind the league leaders Lincoln City, who are also in action tomorrow against Sutton United away from home.

The manager says that his side will be looking after their own results but is expecting a few twists and turns along the way before the end of the season.

He said: "We'll take the challenge head on and try and do what we do and try and win the game.

"We'll try and do that all the way until the end of the season, there will be twists and turns for sure so we have to take care of our own business."

The manager provided an injury update ahead of Tuesday night's game.

"James Wallace is probably ready now to be considered available for selection.

"It's always difficult when you've got players coming back from a lay-off to sling them straight in but we'll manage that.

"The situation with Jack Dunn might not be as bad as we first thought but I say that tentatively. He has had ankle problems in the past so the scan has gone to Liverpool to see what exact injury it is.

"He'll definitely be out on Tuesday but after that we'll see.

"Lois Maynard had a little setback when he tried training on Thursday, but the physio has looked at it and it's scar tissue in the injury so we're hopeful he'll be ok for next week."
