Momentum and talent are on display on both sides of the ball in the NCAA Tournament. The Oregon Ducks are led by Ruthy Hebard who has averaged a double double in her two Tournament games. Oregon beat a talented Duke team, despite the Blue Devils missing a key player on Monday. The game was on the Blue Devils home floor, so going to Bridgeport Connecticut and facing Maryland without looking ahead will be necessary. The Ducks face 3 seed Maryland. The Terrapins are 32-2 on the season.

Maryland is ranked 4th in the nation and will be the highest ranked team Oregon will face all season. The team has three players averaging 20 points per game. Brionna Jones is their biggest inside presence pulling down over 300 rebounds and managing a team leading 55 blocks and 64 steals on the year.

As a team the Terrapins are hitting at 51 percent from the floor and average close 90 points per game. Maryland knows how to win. At 32-2 I am still asking how they ended up as a 3 seed. The Oregon Ducks will need to be physical and hit their shots against this talented of a team.

They did manage to take out Duke and it is March Madness and with Ionescu who has ha multiple double double and triple doubles this season Oregon could have a few runs and make it a game against Maryland. The early start time does not help and Oregon team that will be starting just after 8am Pacific Time playing in the Bridgeport Region.
