REPORT: Ted Cruz, Mike Lee ask Tillerson to investigate Obama funding FOREIGN Soros groups

Based on new reporting from Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and a bevy of other Senators, Obama has been using taxpayer money to fund groups run by George Soros in foreign countries that are basically pushing a leftist agenda whichever way they can. Just like Obama did in Israel by trying to get Netanyahu voted out of office, these groups are alleged to have pushed for certain leftist political candidates and/or to tried to shape the media landscape with a leftist perspective.These countries see this as the US meddling in their elections and media and have complained to several Senators lately. Thus Cruz, Lee, and the other Senators mentioned below are calling on Tillerson to investigate this and put a stop to funds going to these groups, some of which are violent:
FREE BEACON – A group of leading senators is calling on newly installed Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to immediately launch an investigation into efforts by the Obama administration to sway foreign elections by sending taxpayer funds to “extreme and sometimes violent political activists” that promote leftist causes, according to a copy of the letter.
The lawmakers disclosed multiple conversations with foreign diplomats who outlined active political meddling by the Obama administration’s State Department, including the use of taxpayer funds to support leftist causes in Macedonia, Albania, Latin America, and Africa.
A portion of this State Department funding appears to have gone to organizations supported by the controversial liberal billionaire George Soros, according to the letter, which was authored by Republican Sens. Mike Lee (Utah), Jim Inhofe (Okla.), Thom Tillis (N.C.), Ted Cruz (Texas), David Perdue (Ga.), and Bill Cassidy (La.).
“We have received credible reports that, over the past few years, the U.S. Mission there has actively intervened in the party politics of Macedonia, as well as in the shaping of its media environment and civil society, often favoring left-leaning political groups over others,” they wrote.
This activity was pushed by USAID and groups associated with Soros’ Open Society Foundations, according to the lawmakers.
The organizations are said to have pushed a “progressive agenda” meant to “invigorate the political left” using taxpayer funds, according the letter.
“Respected leaders from Albania have made similar claims of U.S. diplomats and Soros-backed organizations pushing for certain political outcomes in their country,” the lawmakers wrote.
“Time and again, foreign leaders visiting Washington have expressed concerns to us about how American taxpayer funds are being used counterproductively in their respective countries,” the lawmakers disclosed, referring to efforts undertaken in Latin America and Africa.
This type of interference in foreign countries must stop immediately, the lawmakers said.
Obviously this doesn’t surprise any of us, given how Obama tried to get Netanyahu ousted from office and a candidate sympathetic to the Palestinian cause elected in his place.
But it is upsetting to know that our hard-earned money is going to such causes, and in secret no less.
An investigation like this would say a lot about Tillerson’s character, if he’s willing to take it on and put a stop to this.

I guess the globalist movement was intended to make things even better for the mega-rich, open borders making the masses suffer but lowering labor costs, and the crime and terrorist problems don’t affect the mega-rich since they already have private security.

Obama and his democrat allies added 12 trillion to the national debt. This could be the tip of the iceberg of Democrat contempt for taxpayers and their love for foreign despots. I’d like an investigation in to funding leftist groups in the US like the ACLU, Planned Parent, leftist churches, etc.

So what if there is an investigation, so what if something is found? What will be done? A nice report on quality paper filed, in a nice folder? If the investigation has its own teeth and bites, not merely another feel good exercise in forgone conclusions, stating the obvious, why bother?

“WE” all know that even the quality paper in a nice folder will get stuffed under/behind some place nobody could ever find it. You are right, why bother spending MORE taxpayer dollars on another investigation that will never be over?

Obama… domestic terrorist in the US and should be deported immediately. better yet, investigated, records disclosed and DNA taken from his alleged kids and compared to his own… just for starters. The swamp WILL be drained by law, or guns… doesn’t matter to me…
