South African literary legend, Miriam Tlali laid to rest (Photos)

South Africa's literary legend and first Black woman to publish a novel, Mariam Tladi was laid to rest at the Westpark Cemetery in Johannesburg on Saturday, March 5, 2017. Tlali was a renowned author who had written a novel titled 'Muriel at Metropolitan'. She passed away last Friday at the age of 83. See more photos after the cut...
