Now that Helmets and Gloves are required safety equipment at the Tieton Grand Prix.
How creative can they be?

Hey, there's an idea! Helmets that actually increase the likelihood of a broken neck!!

Oh Man, get some goggles as well! My glasses are only good to 40mph or so.
Most becoming though.

Those might be a little steam punky for the likes of me.
I'm actually more of a Halcyon man.

I've been tempted by this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302297617747?var=601136528144&ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649. More for parade than racing perhaps, I already have a full face flip front road helmet from when I rode a moped, if needed. Need to get on with building the Morgan first though.

Keep in mind, the way those rub on the top of
your ears is really annoying.

Thanks for the info Dennis, they do come with a padded collar that covers the ears, so if I do get one I'll use that. I have no knowledge of anything other than full face helmets, so advice from those with more experience is always welcome.

Ha, ha Chris, I have one of those! The insert separated from the outer shell. If you're running in a pack, nothing can beat a full face helmet.
