The Oregon Ducks Baseball team ended the weekend better than it started with big performances from Freshman, wrapping up wins vs Fresno State.

Kenyon Yovan showed off his ability on Sunday making plays with his bat. On Monday, he took to the mound for his first Collegiate Save following a near perfect day at the plate with a triple and three runs scored. He will certainly be a player to watch this season for Oregon Baseball.

James Ocuna led the way three Freshman combined for 5 scorless innings in a 3-2 win, tying the four game series at two games each between the Ducks and Bulldogs. AJ Balta helped on Offense.

Fresno State saw more errors on Monday after giving up 18 walks Sunday evening Balta hit a two RBI single giving Oregon the lead. Jake Bennett also had two hits in the game to go with a run and an RBI, but the storyline was what the Oregon Ducks did on the mound.

James Acuna leads the staff throwing 4.1 innings giving up 4 hits and striking out 6 in a win Monday night. Cole Stringer leads the staff with 7 innings pitched and 8 strikeouts. Freshman Kenyon Yovan leads Oregon on offense with 2 runs and 3 hits batting at .529 to start the season.
