It's crazy. Got the clip from a text a freind sent me and I can't get the thing into a format that'll work. Even my 16 yr old can't get it to work, so... Bad quality anyway. I'll make my own.

All suspension steering and systems were removed

All suspension, steering, and systems were removed in order to carry the 90lb body into the house. To cold in shop for this work.

Big compound curves made this more challenging tha

Big compound curves made this more challenging than most full size cars.

Back into the cold shop for re assembly All steel

Back into the cold shop for re-assembly. All steel parts were painted while out and now I can get it wet without it rusting. Time for the details to be added.

Thanks so much, Dennis . Alot of detail to though.Light weight stuff fortunately.Denny, styling film is what some companies call their wrap vinyl. Same stuff we wrap big trucks with basically.

Mark.You can see zoomed in the strip planking but I neglected to get pictures of the framework beneath.The tight compounds are carved from foam.

You can see the balsa strip planking and how the transition to sculpted foam intersect. Lots of sanding.

No really good pictures of the framework. Sorry. All these strips were glued on individually and dovetailed at different points

After all the sanding the entire piece is glassed

After all the sanding the entire piece is glassed with 4oz cloth and epoxy resin. Well wetted out and rolled, you can't even see it.

The radiator grill is built up from shaped 1 8 si

The radiator grill is built up from shaped 1/8" sintra parts. Notched and glued.

Russ, I literally layed my frame out in sharpie on my work table (still there) and scaled up the bulkhead stations from a small 3 view drawing on smcars.net. and drew right on the material. Most of the body is just eyeball sculpture. I really should take molds from it before I wreck anything. Even if I built another one,It would come out a little different.and have to start from scratch again.

Disk brake installation My caliper is swapped aro

Disk brake installation. My caliper is swapped around so pull activates it. I use a Manco brake cable. lighter than a1/4 steel pushrod.

Completed front suspension Yes the spring is ass

Completed front suspension. Yes, the spring is assisted by bungee cords but they are gone, replaced by another leaf

040 wrisco aluminum is used in conjunction with 4

.040 wrisco aluminum is used in conjunction with 4mm Dibond floor board to create a monocoque. All body panels are mounted with VHB tape and rivets.

Engine location is compact and low Weight down ce

Engine location is compact and low. Weight down centerline. I had to mod the Tav to run the chain this close.
