URSONATE is part of HEAVY-HEADED / DADA-MINDED, a playful eccentric combination of real-time generated content, live manipulated sounds and dadaistic performance interventions:
Kurt Schwitters’ famous sound poem Ursonate (1923-32) gets transformed into an interactive dance performance. The audience can co-create the audiovisual environment by means of smartphones but also through bodily actions, or enter a walk-in tracking box to leave their virtualized heads as visual material.
Thereby Heavy-Headed / Dada-Minded not only lifts the boundaries between audience space and stage, but also blurs the traditional timeline of showtime and curtain call.
