Ever since Netflix announced there would be a second season of the beloved cult show, Stranger Things, we’ve been very much in the dark about the details. But, the pieces are finally starting to come together. For one, we have a release date: Halloween. And now, we also know that the show’s most beloved character, Eleven (played by equally beloved 12-year-old actress Millie Bobby Brown), is not only alive in the second season, but also debuting a complete hair transformation. She and her fellow cast members appeared on the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly, and the Internet is officially freaking out about her new ‘do.

Back in December the show’s hairstylist, Sarah Hindsgaul, told Refinery29 that wigs were going to a big part of the second season. “This year it is very different — we start stepping more into the ‘80s, which is kind of amazing, visually," she said. “Last year was '83 and this year is '84, and they’re still in Hawkins, Indiana — but people are starting to realize there are perms and mullets, so we’re using a lot of wigs this year.” Looks like we've just seen the results of those wigs!

Naturally, Twitter is still coming to terms with the fact that Eleven no longer has a shaved head. Millie's character remains an enigmatic badass, but we can officially say we've solved one of the mysteries surrounding her. Can't wait to see what else season two brings!
