New Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus renders have just surfaced, this time around, they popped up in Korea. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get a couple of new images of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus which reveal the general design of these two smartphones, and even their dimensions. These renders were created by Matt Kim, if the leaked info is to be believed, and Mr. Kim claims that he had seen the real Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, on which these renders are based on.

According to the provided info, both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will sport curved displays, though neither of them will have the ‘Edge’ part in their names, they’ll be called the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, as most rumors have been suggesting for a while now. Panels on these two phones will be less curved than on the Galaxy S7 Edge, mainly in order to avoid unwanted palm touches. The two devices will be identical in terms of the design, but will be different in terms of size, while they’ll also sport different battery capacities, of course. The home button will not be present on either of these two phones, and the fingerprint scanner could be placed on the back of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus this time around (next to the camera sensor actually), though nothing has been confirmed just yet. For those of you who like using your headphones with your smartphone(s), you’ll be glad to know that Samsung plans to keep the 3.5mm headphone jack this time around, well, at least if the source is to be believed.

Now, if the leaked info is to be believed, the Galaxy S8 will be 131.58mm tall, while the source mentions it will be 68.05mm wide. In the Galaxy S8 Plus’ case, you’ll get a phone that is 142.34mm tall, and 70mm wide. That is more or less it, a rather odd placement of the fingerprint scanner is possible, and is not the first time we’re hearing something like that might happen. Samsung had scheduled a press conference for February 26th at MWC 2017, but the company almost certainly will not announce the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus during that event, but the Galaxy Tab S3 will probably land, though. The Galaxy S8 devices could be announced in either March or April, at least if the most recent info is to be believed.
