The Oregon Women’s Basketball team faces the Utah Utes who lost to Oregon State earlier this week.

Resilient is a good word to describe the Oregon Women’s Basketball team at this point in the season. On Friday, they fought and found a way to win again. It was the fifth straight game in which they overcame a deficit entering the second half to pull out a win. The two games this weekend are both games that should be winnable in a competitive Pac-12 Conference.

The Ducks cannot be caught looking ahead to their two games with Oregon State next weekend. The Beavers handled Utah 70-44 on Friday night. Ruthy Hebard was the difference maker for Oregon on Friday.

Hebard put the team on her back and helped start an 11-0 run. Sabrina Ionescu and Lexi Bando are also scoring in double figures. Hebard has been the outlet this season as the opposition knows how to shut down Bando and Ionescu from outside. The challenge on Sunday is to open up the outside some to get shots against the Utes.

Utah is hitting 41 percent from the floor this season and 27 percent from beyond the arc. The Utes have five players scoring in double figures on average led by Tilar Clark(17) and Emily Potter(16). Potter is hitting 71 percent from three-point range.
