His way! See the Trumps’ breathtaking inaugural first dance and gorgeous fashions

“Through it all, when there was doubt, I ate it up and spit it out. I faced it all and I stood tall. And did it my way.”

No song better fits a president than the iconic tune “My Way,” popularized by Frank Sinatra, which Donald Trump chose for his first dance with First Lady Melania Trump.

After a whirlwind day that included a swearing-in ceremony, lunch with lawmakers, a parade and signing executive orders, President Trump capped off his Inauguration by dancing with the First Lady at three inaugural balls.

A tuxedoed Trump cut the rug with Melania, who dazzled in an ethereal ivory Hervé Pierre gown.

During the dance, the president sang along several times, mouthing the lyrics “I did it my way.”  The song was performed by Erin Boheme, Nickie Conley and Jason Eskridge.

Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen later joined the first couple on stage, followed by Trump and Pence’s adult children and their spouses in a scene resembling a modern-day Camelot.

The first couple saved the best for last and ended their evening by dropping by the Liberty and Freedom Balls at the Washington Convention Center.

At the military ball, President Trump danced with Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Catherine Campbell, while the First Lady was paired with Army Staff Sgt Jose A. Medina.

Before their final dance of the evening, Mrs. Trump made a brief speech to thank the armed forces for their service:

“Thank you all for your service. I’m honored to be your First Lady. We will fight, we will win. And we will make America great again.”
