The races went off without a hitch except for one yellow. Lots of good racing, especially the open wheel and under 2 and under 1.5 liter races. Some videos and some pictures below.

Cheers!
PS, if any one has wondered what could happen when those production cars zoom around the track between races. These videos will make your heart sink. This happened Saturday...

The ride down was hot we left the soft top up but I unzipped the back window which let a nice breeze through the whole time. We stopped in Erie for a bite. After we started off I noticed the gas gauge and rest of the instruments (Tach, A/F, oil temp and turn signals were all dead) and most importantly the Overdrive wouldn’t engage. If you know Triumphs, you know all these are on the same (green wire) circuit from the top fuse. We pulled off the next exit into the parking lot of a business. Looking for the obvious I pulled the fuse and it looked fine. Fearing a disconnect in a bullet connector and finding nothing obvious under the dash I started taking the center panel off. Unfortunately the heater control knobs are held on with 1/16” hex Allen screws and I didn’t have an Allen wrench. My wife walked up to the (overhead door installation) business and found someone who did. I got the panel off but found nothing. Going back to the fuse, I did what I should have tried in the first place and replaced the fuse (which I did have)…success! I put the dash back together and we were on our way.
The first event we attended was the ‘Tune Up’ show held down by the river waterfront. Lots of people and cars. Mostly modern expensive ones. Since Porsche is the maker mark this year, there were lots of them. We enjoyed looking at all the cars and people. I especially liked the LBCs in the mix. Some pictures below if you are interested.
Thursday is usually a down day with other stuff so no car stuff. Friday they have brought the Squirrel Hill event back so many of the vintage race cars will be there on display and then race off on the streets back to the paddock at Schenley Park. Always a good time for us.
