Glory and honor await, champions. For Honor is coming in just a few short weeks, and Ubisoft today announced that the game has gone gold. The extra burst of caffeine from Ubisoft's collaboration with Death Wish Coffee Company kept the developers up around the clock to make the February 14 launch date happen. That's not the only honorable team up Ubisoft's doing, though. The company today announced an exclusive For Honor promotion for Twitch Prime subscribers ahead of next week's closed beta weekend.
Throughout next weekend's closed beta, some of your favorite Twitch streamers will pledge their sword or axe to one of the three For Honor factions and act as generals as they lead armies of players on their Twitch channels. For Honor will also be included in an upcoming Twitch Prime promotion, where all Prime members can receive a 10-day champion status that offers experience boosts for both combat and crafting, additional loot at the end of a match, and the united factions emblem that you can use to customize your character. The experience boosts from champion status can also be shared with friends.
For Honor will make your sweetheart's dreams of glory on the battlefield come true when it releases on Valentine's Day for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. If you just can't wait until next month to bear your faction's standard, Ubisoft will be hosting one last For Honor closed beta when the War of the Factions goes live next weekend from January 26 through the 29th.
