Cyanide is the latest game studio that seeks to bring the weird and disturbing universe of H.P. Lovecraft's "Call of Cthulhu" fiction to life, and when your adaptation gets to wield the Official Video Game subtitle you'll probably want to get serious about getting players to lose their sanity. The stars were right for Cyanide to release its first trailer which helpfully sets the stage for their forthcoming game, with all the trappings of a "Lovecraftian" adventure where things don't usually end very well for nosy protagonists.
The Sanity checks will commence some time later this year when Call of Cthulhu: The Official Video Game is released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
Dark Corners of the Earth was excellent. Will be interesting to see Cyanide's adaptation - the only game of theirs I've played is Styx.
