In pictures: Views from inside new Spurs stadium

Tottenham Hotspur has unveiled some of the most expensive views that will be available from its new stadium.

The club revealed its new premium suites and lounges, which will form part of the stadium’s overall 61,000 capacity.

Construction is under way next to Spurs’ existing White Hart Lane home, with one corner of the current ground missing to allow for construction to begin.

It is expected that the club will move out of White Hart Lane at the end of this season to allow for demolition to be completed and construction on the new stadium to continue.

The project will see up to 1,500 people working on site, with eight tower cranes in operation, 72,000 sq m of concrete to be poured and 1,101 concrete columns to be built for support.

Mace is overseeing the scheme as main contractor, with subcontractors on site including concrete frame specialist Morrisroe, steel specialist Severfield and scaffolding specialist GKR Scaffolding.

First team manager Mauricio Pochettino said he had given input into the design process to architect Populous, adding that it was “very important” to share his opinion.

Populous managing director EMEA Christopher Lee said:

“This project has been a fantastic challenge, working with Tottenham Hotspur to deliver their vision of a world-leading stadium experience and to provide a catalyst for regeneration in Tottenham.

“This design will redefine sporting experience, offering incredible freedom of choice to enjoy innovative opportunities for guests and visitors to watch top-class football, NFL, concerts and much more.”

The club’s premium seating options are varied, and include the first purpose-built glass-walled Tunnel Club in the UK, which will allow guests to see the players lining up in the tunnel before they enter the pitch – from £339 per person per match.

Other options include:

  • The H Club, with Michelin star-calibre dining;
  • The Sky Lounge, located on both sides of level nine of the stadium along the length of the pitch;
  • Super Loge and Loge Boxes, with private dining spaces and access to a shared members’ bar.

The stadium will also include the world’s first stadium micro-brewery and in-house bakery, with a beer delivery system pouring up to 10,000 pints per minute.

Unlike many modern stadiums, which feature a ring of premium-level seating around the circumference of the bowl, the South Stand at the new stadium will be single-tiered, interrupting the ring of hospitality.

This single-tiered stand will seat 17,000 people – one of the largest of its kind in Europe.
