If there's one thing fans are concerned about with the Nintendo Switch right now, it's the lack of launch titles. Currently, the Switch has six launch titles: Breath of the Wild, 1-2-Switch, Super Bomberman R, Just Dance 2017, Sklyanders: Imaginators, and now The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+. The latest launch title was confirmed through The Binding of Isaac's website, with the game being featured in both retail and digital formats. While iOS gamers are now able to enjoy The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth after last week's release, the developers have been hard at work bringing the latest chapter to the latest console.
The announcement confirms that Afterbirth+ will not only be available in both physical and digital formats for the Switch, but the game will be available on March 3 as a Switch launch title. The Switch version of Afterbirth+ will include Rebirth, Afterbirth, and the latest chapter in The Binding of Isaac all wrapped into one package deal. The game is available for pre-orders now through both Amazon and Gamestop for $39.99, compared to the $59.99 for other launch titles.
We're just under two months away from Switching things up with the latest Nintendo console. While some fans are disappointed that much of last week's Switch presentation focused on upcoming games rather than games that will be available at launch, there's at least one more game for you to add to your launch day wishlist. The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ will be available on the Nintendo Switch when the console launches on March 3.
Love me some Isaac.
Between this and Zelda, and maybe Bomberman, I don't foresee myself needing to pick up any more games for a while.
I'm more surprised by how many times The Binding of Isaac is going to re-release.
Kind of a shame there isn't a big name mature title scheduled for launch. I remember talking to a lot of people at work about it who would have otherwise dismissed the Wii U's launch because they were hoping Zombi U would be an indicator of more mature titles to come. Also probably helped that it wound up being a really good, tense survival horror game - it still plays best on the Wii U imo.
never could justify paying full price for one, werent enough games on the system to get one for me, there are some GREAT games dont get me wrong, but were more games on other systems you see.
Exactly.
It's not likely, irregardless of where you pre order.
