UNILORIN students to showcase skills at photo exhibition

Students of the Mass Communication Department of the University of Ilorin have an opportunity to showcase their communication skills and story-telling abilities during a photo exhibition that is scheduled to hold in the institution on Thursday.

The event is being organised by a group of photo-journalism students of the department in collaboration with an outfit known as Trendsville Media limited.

According to a statement by the lecturer in charge of the exhibition, Dr. K.K Kadiri, the exhibition is expected to attract some notable photo artists in the country, including seasoned photographers, Osahon Okodugha and Logo Oluwamuyiwa who will atttend as panelists. While Okodugha is inclined towards creative and conceptual art, as well as technical proficiency; Oluwamuyiwa is an advocate of positive and rich story telling via the digital media as tool for reorientation. The photographers are also expected to speak on the pathways to new dialogue and knowledge acquisition during the event.

Others expected at the exhibition, tagged, Photography is Life,   are the Chief Executive Officer, Yemi Ajala Studios, Mr. Ajala  Adeniyi, who is also the  founder, Project Kwara and a London trained photographer, Oloyiwola Emmanuel popularly known as Zeal.

He is also a cinematographer, experienced and seasoned lights and props expert, as well as a specialist in portrait wedding photography and beauty photography.
