We're less than a week away to witnessing Resident Evil 7: biohazard opening the door slow-mo on Capcom's latest attempt to revive its iconic survival horror franchise, and Microsoft today confirms that the Xbox One version of the game will be part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
That means RE7 on Xbox One supports game-sharing between Microsoft's console and Windows 10 PC; purchase the (digital) Xbox One version of the game and get the Windows 10 version for free, provided players are willing to go through the Windows Store. The alternative to getting RE7 on PC would be Valve's Steam service of course, but that route obviously won't set you up for a complimentary Xbox One download of the game in turn.
No matter which door you choose to open, Resident Evil 7 biohazard arrives on PS4, Xbox One and PC this January 24th.

i've always enjoyed the franchise, but 6 left a bad taste in my mouth, the revelations games were great fun though.
