Manchester United have been left frustrated in their attempts to sell Memphis Depay this month, with Lyon the only club lodging a formal bid.
United have turned down two offers from the Ligue 1 outfit, both way short of their valuation of somewhere close to £20million.
Everton have yet to move for Depay after landing Morgan Schneiderlin, while Roma's interest in the winger has yet to materialise.

It has led to fears inside Old Trafford that the Holland international may not find his exit route in January.
Depay has not turned out for United since the 4-0 Europa League victory over Feyenoord in late November, with his only start under Jose Mourinho coming in the EFL Cup.
He was dragged off just after half-time during that tie at Northampton Town and has played just 20 minutes of Premier League football.
Depay is training with the United first team as normal but moves have been made to find him a new club in January after revealing his desire to leave.
Mourinho confirmed earlier this month Depay will not play again until his future is resolved.
Depay has been told he is free to leave Manchester United in January by boss Jose Mourinho
Depay has failed to shine at Old Trafford since being signed by Louis van Gaal in June 2015
Talking about Depay and Schneiderlin before the FA Cup win against Reading, Mourinho said: 'Their situation is exactly the same, both of them I will allow them to leave the club.
'I will allow them to leave if the right offer comes. Until this moment, no. Is this a good situation? No. Why not? Because I don't think about them as options in this moment.
'In normal conditions they would probably be selected for the match tomorrow and they aren't because we are waiting for something that a couple of weeks ago looked like 100 per cent and at the moment looks like zero per cent because we don't have any offer that is close to the quality for the players we have.'
