A new photo has been shared today which conspiracy theorists claim is proof that Elvis Presley is still alive and well.
Elvis Presley reportedly died on August, 16th 1977 at the age of 42 having suffered a heart attack. Although official sources recorded the king’s death, a number of fans have always believed the rock singer faked his own death to lead a more understated life out of the public eye.
The newly emerged photo, which supposedly depicts Elvis alive and well, is believed to have been taken at the singers annual birthday tribute event in Graceland, Memphis TN on January 8. The photo in question shows an elderly overweight ‘Elvis’ with a white beard and white hair, sporting sunglasses and a cap. Conspiracy theorists believe this to be the ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ singer in incognito mode.
Last year a number of Presley’s personal belongings went on sale at auction. The possessions listed included his electric guitar, a black and gold outfit, an Indian ring and his birth record. The singer achieved his fourth posthumous Number One album in 2015 with the ‘If I can Dream’ collection of classic tracks including renditions by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
