Super Mario Run

Super Mario Run’s First Bonus Coin Event is Now Live

Get a load of coins!

Nintendo might not have any plans to support the game any further, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun earning tons of coins in Super Mario Run. If you boot up the game on your mobile device, you’ll be greeted with a message telling you that the Load of Coins event is now live, and will run from now till January 27.

With this promotion, players will be able to earn 1.5 times the amount of coins from successfully completing a Toad Rally run. More coins is always a good thing, as this is one of the main in-game currencies that allows you to buy cosmetic items and other buildings used to decorate your mobile kingdom. Of course, you’ll still need those special colored Toads to buy the really rare items, but having extra coins never hurt anyone.

Super Mario Run is now available on iOS devices, and will be coming to Android some time this year. Will you be grinding for your extra coins this month? Let us know in the comments down below.
