We will give you private live screenings for every single Wednesday game right up until we win the champions league... ballocks to that...I would do anything for love but I won't do that... scilly owl Posted January 17, 2017 Share Posted January 17, 2017 It can be a pain in the backside when Sky pluck a match out of the Saturday schedules for screening on a Friday or Sunday. I've just committed to four flights from Scilly to Land's End followed by four flights from Newquay to Leeds/Bradford, car hire and two nights hotel accommodation in Sheffield for the Newcastle game in April. If Sky decide to show that game on a Friday or Sunday then everything goes t*ts up. I'm not knocking Sky, I love it when the Owls are on the box, when you live where I live it is a great source of excitement when we are chosen for live screening, but when one has to book travel arrangements so far in advance it can be unsettling !!
