LAHORE: One of the last persons who witnessed Pakistan appearing on the world map left for his final journey, known to fellow countrymen by the name of Justice (retd) Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui. He was a man of great character and honour. His judicial career remained free from any controversy and always held the law and the Constitution as supreme. Being witness to the creation of Pakistan, he was aware of the great sacrifices rendered by freedom fighters and always considered his duties as a jurist above his personal likes or dislikes with firm belief in rule of law. Without an iota of doubt, the name of Late Justice Siddiqui will be written in golden letters in the judicial history of Pakistan.
