Longtime popular radio talk show host Allan Prell has died
Longtime popular WBAL Radio morning talk show host Allan Prell has died. His wife said Prell died Saturday at their home in Virginia. Prell worked at several radio stations, but he really made his mark at WBAL Radio. Uncle Ally, as he called himself, was brilliant on the air, hilarious and loved to take comedy to the edge with Ally Elf. He hosted his widely-popular radio show from 1982 to 1999. He is survived by his wife, two sons and three grandchildren. Prell was 79 years old.
