The Oregon Women’s Basketball team returns to action Friday night hosting the Portland Pilots.

Kelly Graves has his team on the cusp of the Top 25 and 6-1 on the season. Friday the team entertains the Portland Pilots. The team from just up I-5 comes in at 2-6 averaging just over 55 points per game.

The Oregon Ducks will look to again flex their muscle with Lexi Bando and Sabrina Ionescu who have become quite the duo for the Ducks. Entering the second month of the season Bando ranks 8th in the country in three-point field goal percentage at just over 55 percent. Ionescu is coming off a triple-double last month in Hawaii and is showing why she is a Top 5 recruit for this years class.

Head Coach Kelly Graves has depth. In some cases it is enough to have two separate Lineups it seems. All 14 eligible players have seen time through the first seven games of the season. There is no reason to think that won’t be the case again against Portland.

For the Pilots Darian Slaga is averaging just over 10 points per game. Holly Blades is putting up close to 45 percent of her shots from beyond the arc. Oregon has history on their side. The Ducks have never lost to Portland in Eugene going a perfect 18-0.
