Miriam Eshkol, 3rd PM Levi Eshkol's widow, has died at 87
Miriam Eshkol, the widow of Israel's third prime minister, Levi Eshkol, was announced to have died at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. She was 87 years old.
The departed Mrs. Eshkol was an avid culture, art and education activist, in addition to heading an intiative for a Jewish-Arab dialogue.
She will be buried next to her husband at Mt. Herzl.
