Treasure Data Closes $25M Series C Funding

treasuredataTreasure Data, a Mountain View, CA-based cloud platform to make connect data, closed a $25m Series C funding.

The round was led by SBI (formerly known as SoftBank Investment) and INCJ (Innovation Network Corporation of Japan) with participation from existing investors Scale Venture Partners, Sierra Ventures, AME Cloud Ventures, Dentsu, IT-Farm, Bill Tai and others.

The company, which has raised $54m in total funding, intends to use the capital for the market introduction of its Live Data Management platform.

Founded in 2011 by Hiro Yoshikawa, CEO, Treasure Data provides a live data management platform to instantly collect and unify data from varied sources across the enterprise, along with self-service analytics, to get access to real-time insights throughout the organization and identify, learn from, and respond to customer behavior, industry trends, and rapidly changing markets. The solution also supports a list of nearly 100 integrations with business critical platforms and applications, ranging from Web and Mobile Analytics, to CRM and BI, to Storage and Databases, and containers like Docker and Kubernetes. This also includes support for Fluentd, which is an open source project initiated and led by Treasure Data engineers, the data collector for developers, featuring over 600 community-contributed plug-ins and used by over 2,000 data-driven companies including Microsoft, Atlassian and Nintendo.

Customers include companies and departments focused on Marketing and Advertising, Gaming and Content Publishing, Business and Sales Operations, Retail and eCommerce, and more.
