مقالہ ١ – میراثِ مومن

قال الشيخ أبو محمد عبد القادر في كتاب فتوح الغيب: لابد لكل مؤمن في سائر أحواله من ثلاثة أشياء: أمر يمتثله ونهي يجتنبه وقدر يرضى به. فأقل حالة لا يخلو المؤمن فيها من أحد هذه الأشياء الثلاثة فينبغي له أن يلزم بها قلبه ويحدث بها نفسه ويأخذ بها الجوارح.

حضرت قطبِ ربانی علیہ الرحمہ نے فرمایا: مومن کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ وہ اوامر کو اپنائے اور نواہی سے بچے اور تقدیر پر راضی رہے۔ مومن کا ادنٰی درجہ یہ ہے کہ وہ کسی بھی حالت میں ان تینوں سے خالی نہ ہو۔ ان تینوں چیزوں سے پیوستہ رہنا ہی میراثِ مومن ہے۔ انہی کا ذکر کرے اور انہی کو اپنے جسم و جاں پر وارد رکھے۔

Three things inevitably demand the attention of every believer under all circumstances: A commandment to be obeyed, a prohibition to be respected, and a divine decree to be accepted with good grace. In even the most trivial situation, at least one of the three is bound to apply. The believer must therefore keep his mind and feelings focused upon them, talk to himself about them, and practice the physical self-discipline they require of him at all times.
