Dr Mahathir Mohamad has urged the people to fill up the ranks of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) and join its mission to defeat BN and Umno in the next general election.

In a post on his blog today, Mahathir said many bumiputera have already signed up as members while non-bumiputera have signed up as associate members.

"It is important for Bersatu to have a large membership as soon as possible. Therefore I urge all pribumi who are not members of any opposition parties to register as members.

"Your association with Bersatu will contribute to the national restoration which would bring good to us all," said Mahathir, who is chairperson of Bersatu.
