The body of a young male recovered from the Merrimack River Sunday afternoon is believed to be the teenager who went missing Friday night.State Police said a police helicopter located a body floating in the river in Tyngsboro Sunday. Tyngsboro Fire and Nashua Fire worked together to recover the body. State police said the airwing stayed on scene until body was recovered.Authorities say the body is believed to be Jacob Goulet, 16, of Nashua, New Hampshire. Goulet was reported missing at 8:48 a.m. Saturday by a parent, police said. The parent had searched for the teenager, but did not find him.The teenager was supposed to walk home Friday evening. Based on information from the parent, police became worried that personal items found the night before may have belonged to Goulet.Those items were found near an open storm drain at 75 Main Street, in Nashua, N.H., around 9:50 p.m. on Friday. At that time, the heavy water flow prevented emergency crews from being able to determine if someone had fallen into the drain.Video surveillance later linked the items to Goulet, police said. Goulet is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has blue eyes and black hair cut short on the sides and long along the top of his head. Authorities say the body is believed to be Jacob Goulet, 16, of Nashua, New Hampshire. 

Goulet was reported missing at 8:48 a.m. Saturday by a parent, police said. The parent had searched for the teenager, but did not find him.
