The Cal Bears look for their first win in eight years over the Oregon Ducks.

Oregon Gameday Preview

The Oregon Ducks look to get things back on track in the win column on Friday night after four straight losses and three of those in the Pac-12 against Colorado, Washington State and Washingon. While the Pac-12 North Title may be out of reach a win could do a lot for this program the rest of the way in 2016.

Oregon Ducks Head Coach Mark Helfrich has been under fire by fans the last few weeks, but as he did last season, a win could start the turnaround for 2016 which will likely lead to just a bowl game. The Ducks have had issues all around in 2016. Injuries to key players and leaders have not helped. Having a near all Freshman Offensive Line has not been good either, but has led to key moments of experience in games this season.

Oregon has shuffled Quarterbacks following the first five weeks of the season with Transfer Dakota Prukop. Against Washington, it was Justin Herbert who faced a tough defense and was blown out 70-21 at Autzen Stadium two weeks ago. Since then the team has worked on the field, on chemistry and have gotten more healthy.

Running Back Royce Freeman could play a big part in the game against Cal and should be back on the field for the Oregon Ducks Friday night. Kickoff between the Oregon Ducks and California Golden Bears is set for 7:30pm Pacific Time.
