Khloe Kardashian isn't letting Donald Trump's "derogatory" comments get her down.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is the latest celebrity to find herself at the receiving end of the presidential hopeful's negative commentary. The Huffington Post reported several people who worked on Celebrity Apprentice came forward and revealed that Trump made many mean remarks about Khloe during her stint on the show in 2009.

"What is this? We can't even get the hot one?" he reportedly said, referring to Kim Kardashian. "Why don't we fire Khloe? She is a fat piglet. Why did we get the ugly Kardashian?"

But, while many people might let those words affect them, Khloe is brushing them off.

"I didn't think he was saying those things about me," the 32-year-old told the LA Times while promoting her new denim brand Good American on Monday. "But he says those comments about a lot of women—really derogatory things. Someone who is that simplistic to judge things off of surface is not someone I want running my country."

She continued, "It's not cool or appropriate for any person, male or female, to judge someone else by their looks. I find it really cruel. It's wild."

Nonetheless, his negativity can't get Khloe down.

"I'm a tough cookie, so something that he said—that's not gonna bother me," she said. "Ninety percent of the time, [criticism] doesn't bother me. I'm not sure why. I think I'm just in my own world. But I believe that's why [those incidents] happen to me, because I can take it. If that's what it takes to get even just this little group of people to realize how shady and bad and negative that one person is, I can take it."

Trump has not commented about the allegations regarding what was said.

Meanwhile, the controversy with Khloe comes on the heels of another scandal involving Trump's commentary about Deaf actress Marlee Matlin

The real estate mogul reportedly referred to her as "retarded" and often mocked her during her time on Celebrity Apprentice.

Matlin responded to the reports on Twitter Friday, posting a statement that read: "Recent media reports have circulated that Donald Trump allegedly referred me to as 'retarded,'" she began. "The term is abhorrent and should never be used. The fact that we are talking about this during a very important moment in American history has upset me deeply."

She explained, "I am Deaf. There are millions of Deaf and hard of hearing people like me, in the United States and around the world who face discrimination and misunderstanding like this on a daily basis. It is unacceptable."

Thus, she continued, "So what's my response? It's not about insults or taking each other down. As a person who is Deaf, as a woman, as a mom, as a wife, as an actor, I have a voice. And I'm using that voice to make myself heard...and vote."
