Industrial accident
INNISFIL — On Wednesday September 28, 2016 at 1:44 p.m. emergency crews were called to a construction site on Big Bay Point Road for an industrial accident that involved a 37-year-old Toronto man.
The man had been working at the site when he was struck by a wooden concrete form used during the construction process.
The man was seriously injured but was able to speak to attending paramedics. He was eventually taken to a local hospital where he remains in stable condition.
The Ministry of Labour was called in and has now taken over the investigation.
