While the Oregon Football team is 2-2, the future got a little brighter on Monday with the Commitment of 4-Star Cornerback Jalon Redd.

Redd is a two way player who could fit as a Wide Receiver or as Defensive Back according to 247Sports. He held offers from several other Pac-12 schools including Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, USC, and UCLA. Redd used his creativity in announcing his school of choice with a box of chocolates…

One thing is clear to me in his Junior Year HUDL Highlights. Redd is fast. He is also shifty when he needs to be to get down field. He plays all three positions in High School and Cornerback, Wide Receiver and Returner are all represented. His kickoff returns are assisted by solid blocks from team mates, but his speed and instinct takes him to the end zone on several plays.

Redd is rated the 26th best athlete out of Rancho Cucamonga, California and the 24th Best Cornerback in the State.

Rivals.com caught up with Redd who said he liked the Oregon Program and how they planned to use his versatility and talent on the field similar to Charles Nelson.

Jaylon Redd is the third 4-Star Commit for the Oregon Ducks Class of 2017.
