Call of Duty is finally making the jump to space, leaving the PS3 and Xbox 360 on Earth. As announced in May, the perennial first person shooter will be bringing its annual offering to the table on November 4, just in time for American Thanksgiving and Christmas. Activision even went so far as to confirm beta dates for fans who just can't wait until November, giving PS4 gamers their first chance at Infinite Warfare on October 14. Xbox One gamers, meanwhile, will have to wait until October 21 to get their first look.
In order to be able to participate in the Infinite Warfare beta, you'll need to have pre-ordered the game for either console version, as PC gamers will have to wait until the game's release in November. Activision announced earlier this month that beta access was a timed exclusive for PlayStation 4 owners, but whether that means the PS4 beta will run for a whole week before Xbox One fans get started or if it's just an extra weekend remains to be seen.
The beta on both systems is scheduled to end on October 24 at 10 AM Pacific Time. Everyone will be able to play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on their Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or PC when it launches November 4. If you want to play it early, you'll want to pre-order on your preferred console in order to participate in the coming beta.
