Back at E3, Ubisoft announced that Marcus Holloway, protagonist of Watch Dogs 2, would be joining Dedsec for the second entry of the franchise. Nothing is off limits in San Francisco this time around, including a seamless multiplayer world where you can team up with friends to hack the establishment or outhack players trying to collect the bounty on your head. Today, Ubisoft's revealed a new story trailer for Watch Dogs 2 that actually introduces us to some Dedsec members as they lay out their plans for the Bay area.
Long story short, they want to crash CTOS permanently by taking down the man behind the system. With Blume CTO as Dedsec's primary target, Marcus and the rest of the group will be stealing cars, hacking traffic lights, and even blowing things up as they work their way closer to Blume and the CTOS mainframe. It's time to return power to the people, and Dedsec is on a mission to do just that.
It's time to end the rigged elections and spying on citizens in their own homes. Dedsec will be working to take down the establishment when Watch Dogs 2 launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this November 15. PC gamers can take advantage of DirectX 12 with Watch Dogs 2 instead of having to use DX 9 or 11.
