Sarge and the boys look like they're coming back for more. In a recent listing, Brazil's Advisory Rating Board outed the existence of Army Men 2 from 2K Games. The information was posted on the board's website yesterday, listing the game for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In case you're wondering whether Army Men 2 is suitable for children, Brazil's board feels the game is "not recommended for children under ten years."
This will be the first Army Men title in six years if you count Mobile Ops on iOS and Android from 2010. 2K has yet to publicly announce the game, so we don't know yet whether this is going to be a remake of the 1999 Army Men II for PC or a new game all together. This isn't the first time Brazil's rating board got ahead of a company's plans to announce a new product, as the website also briefly mentioned Quantum Break's PC port a couple of weeks before Microsoft and Remedy officially confirmed it.
Until 2K has anything to say about the listing, it's anyone's guess what we're looking at. All we know for sure is that Army Men 2 has been listed for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC and has been given a 10+ age rating in Brazil. Whether this is a remake of the original or a reboot of the franchise remains to be seen.
