It seems like every year pumpkin fever hits earlier and earlier in the season—before it's even fall. Starbucks rolled out its popular Pumpkin Spice Latte the first week of September, Dunkin Donuts started selling its pumpkin offerings in August, and let's not even talk about how early grocery stores have consistently put pumpkin spice treats on the shelves. (Hint: It's still hot out.) The fever is not just about food, either. There's pumpkin spice highlighter, as well as Bath & Body Works's new pumpkin-scented collection. Are you pumpkin'd out yet? Now the trend has gone to women's heads with pumpkin spice hair color showing up all over Instagram.

It may sound a little too orange, but pumpkin spice hair color is actually really beautiful. It's an auburn shade with highlights, either natural or salon-made. There's something about the style's multidimensional vibe, evoking fallen leaves, that makes it feel even more perfect for when the temperature drops. Check out some of our favorite renditions of pumpkin spice hair below.
