The PlayStation 4 version of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will soon be getting a new mode called "VR Paradise" designed for use with the upcoming PlayStation VR headset peripheral. VR Paradise offers three "events" that all basically boil down to the player getting an eyeful of the lovely ladies of DOAX3 in their swimwear.
How close will you be able to get to Marie Rose, Kasumi, or Honoka at the beach resort? Close enough to even touch them, thus allowing players to go "hands on" with the much ballyhoo'd features of DOAX3's Soft Engine 2.0 in a whole new way.
Gamer.ne.jp and 4gamer were among the Japanese gaming sites brave enough to demonstrate the new VR Paradise features, which will go live alongside the launch of the PS VR peripheral this October 13th. VR Paradise admittedly doesn't seem to amount to much more than a VR tech demo featuring the... detailed character models of DOAX3. But it could be a sign of even greater, uh, greatness that Sony has promised will await all gamers on PlayStation.
What a time to be alive.
